Teas and Coffees are available after the service today within the Duncanrig Hall

Ways ‘n’ Means are preparing for a Silent Auction on Saturday 9th September from 10 to 12. Tea and coffee will be available. Any items you wish to donate can be left in the hall of fellowship or can be uplifted if you contact Raymond or Maureen Thomson.

There will be a Ways ‘n’ Means committee meeting on Monday 28th of August at 7:30.

Looking slightly more to the future ourselves and Our Lady of Lourdes hope to arrange a pilgrimage to Inchcolm Island for Wednesday 27th September. As we no longer have government funding we anticipate the cost of the pilgrimage would be around £20 inclusive of coach, ferry and fish tea. If you are interested please add your name to the list in the Hall of Fellowship. Currently however, Historic Environment Scotland are placing an eight week protocol upon our event which may mean the September date will have to be changed. I’ll keep you posted!

Sunday 10th September we celebrate the Sacrament of The Lord’s Supper and again on Wednesday 13th September at 7pm.

The Kirk Session meet on Monday 11th September at 7.30pm

This coming Wednesday 30th August will be the last of our Summer Café meetings. I think it would be fair to say that it was enjoyed by those who attended and we would want to explore what we might do in the future.

Our Girls’ Brigade Company will resume on TUESDAY 29th AUGUST 2017 from 6.30pm onwards in the Duncanrig Hall.
We look forward to seeing our existing members returning and also to new members wishing to join us on a Tuesday evening. There is a fun-filled, memorable year to enjoy as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 4th EK Company!
Girls’ Brigade also will be celebrating it’s 125th anniversary in 2018 so loads of events taking place!

Those who were team members of our COSY Coffeehouse might be glad to hear that the opportunity exists for them to transfer their involvement to the Café held in Duncanrig School on Tuesday lunch times. If you’d like more information just speak to the Minister afterwards.
