Your Weekly Intimations
Teas and Coffees are available in the Duncanrig Hall after this morning’s service.
We gather again for our Watchnight service at 11.30pm this evening to bring in Christmas Day together.
This seems an appropriate time in which to record thanks to those who have made this advent and Christmas season as full and magical as any other.
Thanks to all who have kindly sent a Christmas card to Lynn and myself. We both genuinely appreciate your kind thoughts and wishes.
Thank you to those who have taken part in school events and services in this last week and been part of the ministry of our church to its community.
Thank you to those who made last Sunday’s Family Party such a success. It takes a lot of work and commitment to bring ideas to fruition and we are grateful to those who made it happen.
Thank you to all who led Wednesday morning’s service of prayers and readings as well as preparing teas and festive food for afterward.
In order to encourage you on your spiritual journey through Advent and Christmas the Christmas tree here on the chancel can be put to good use as a Prayer Tree. On the Communion table there is a supply of Christmas gift tags which make a very suitable medium for writing your thoughts and prayers upon. You are welcome then to attach your gift tag to the tree.
Next Sunday 31st December we gather at the normal time of 10.30am.
