Teas and Coffees are available in the Duncanrig hall at the end of today’s service

We celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper again on Wednesday 14th March at 7pm. The retiring collection today is in favour of Marie Curie Cancer Care. Thank you to all who have already donated using the collection box in the Hall of Fellowship. We are hopeful that Elam Mitchell of Marie Curie will be able to join us next Sunday to briefly pass on her thanks for your support.

Next Sunday 18th March we join together in a re-dedication of our Girls’ Brigade Company, 4th East Kilbride, as they celebrate 50 years since the founding of the Company.

A word of thanks to those who helped with the Cathedrals tour on Friday. At last the weather was in our favour and the tour went successfully.

Members of the Kirk Session should note that the date of the next Session meeting has been moved to Monday 19th March at 7.30pm, one week later than originally planned.

Sunday 25th March is Palm Sunday, which marks the opening of our Easter Festival. Julie Ritchie of Bobath Scotland will be with us that morning to tell us about the work Bobath undertakes supporting children and adults living with cerebral palsy. An Easter Festival brochure will be with you next Sunday outlining the times of services through Holy Week which all take place under the title “One More Step”

Some of you will already know that Sheana’s Card stall now has a fine selection of Easter Cards available for you to view and purchase. It’s an excellent way of sending Easter wishes to those you may not see over the Easter Season.

And lastly, let me wish all the ladies here today a very happy Mother’s Day!
