Today’s service brings a close to the events of our Easter Festival though not a close to the Season of Easter which takes us right through to Pentecost. At this juncture then let me record thanks to the ladies of the Easter Festival Committee for all their time, thought and planning. We hope that the journey has been a blessing for you. A big thank you to everyone who has attended services, lead worship, made donations and offered their time in the celebration of Holy Week and Easter.

After this service a roll and sausage, roll and scrambled egg brunch is available in the Duncanrig Hall. After lunch we encourage you to think on family, friends and neighbours who might appreciate the gift of flowers from the church. The ladies of the Flower committee have done an excellent job decorating our church for Easter and will be glad to help you take flowers with you before you leave.

This afternoon at 2.30pm there is a short service in Westwood Nursing Home

The Kirk Session meets on Monday 9th April and anticipates a report from the Finance Team simply to approve annual accounts. All members of the Finance Team are invited to attend the meeting at 7.30pm after which they are free to stay or leave as they desire.
