The Minister returns to duties on Thursday 10thMay.

The Church versus the Red Deer bowling competition takes place again this year on Saturday 12thMay at 12.30pm for a 1pm start.  The competition is open to all even those who have never played bowls before.  If you want to be part of the church team you can sign up in the Hall of Fellowship.  Soup and sandwiches will be provided after the match at a modest cost of around £3.

The BIG Sing for Christian Aid takes place next Sunday 13thMay at 7pm within East Kilbride Old Kirk. I do hope you can join the event and offer your support to the work of Christian Aid

Sunday 13thMay we look forward to Julie Ritchie of Bobath Scotland returning to us to receive funds raised during the Easter Festival.

Monday 14thMay the Kirk Session meets at 7.30pm.  We anticipate reports from Hall Management, Property and Hall Lets. All members of those bodies are welcome at the meeting.

The Girl’s Brigade display takes place on Tuesday 15thMay from 7.30pm.  An invitation is extended to all who wish to support the company’s activities at the 50thAnniversary display.

Sunday 20thMay, Mark Williams will be taking the morning service as the minister is committed to activities at the General Assembly.  Sunday 20thMay is the occasion of the Heart and Soul event in Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh from 12.30pm to 6pm.  If you have the opportunity to join the event then please do.  The work done by Our Lady of Lourdes and Westwood will be highlighted in the Ecumenical Relations marquee.
