Sunday 3rdJune at 3pm the annual Cemetery Service of remembrance and thanksgiving will be held at Phillipshill Cemetery.  The service is open to all who wish to gather to remember someone they have loved and lost.

My thanks to the small team of ladies who helped with the visit of Canberra, East Milton an dour Lady of Lourdes Primary Schools to our church on Friday 18thMay.  An opportunity is to hand to run the same event for Heatheryknowe and St. Louise Primary schools on Friday 8thJune.  If you can help with that event please let me know asap.

Sunday 10thJune is Communion Sunday.  The Lord’s Supper is celebrated again on Wednesday 13thJune at 7pm

The Kirk Session meets on Monday 11thJune at 7.30pm

And on Sunday 17thJune we anticipate our Sunday School and Focus Group Prize Giving.

At the end of June the Minister will be stepping back from some of the more routine tasks that he carries out for the church and in that process creating an opportunity for others to enhance their involvement in church life.  In particular the production of weekly and monthly intimation sheets and the purchasing of cleaning and janitorial products for the church will be open for others to be involved with.  If you are interested in taking on some or all of those tasks please let me know ASAP. Internet access and your own transport can help with these tasks.
